2 Weeks Until Gotcha Day!

  The puppies are growing fast and it has been exciting to get updates from the breeder with pictures and videos. My brother also had a chance to go down and meet the breeder on the day we picked our pups. My brother and I ended up picking the two boys from the litter and are looking forward to the official "gotcha" day only two weeks from now.

   I have been completing projects around the house to prepare for our new puppy. This week's projects will be installing the new hallway puppy gate and dog potty area in the backyard. We have a bucket full of toys and a newly organized pet care station in the house.

  The past few months have been filled with lots of reading, which led to my bedside table becoming a temporary library piled high with books. We have also spent hours watching videos on raising and training puppies and dogs. And next week my oldest and I get to meet with the trainer we plan on using and make sure we are ready to start on the right foot.

  I can't wait to meet our sweet little guy soon and introduce him to my family. We are still debating names, but it looks like Ronan may be the winning one.

Thank you! We each picked our puppy already, so the one pictured here is my family's. And my brother picked the other boy in the litter for his family. We decided to pick from the same litter so we could raise littermates and have instant playmates in the same town .

I'm not quite understanding - are both you and your brother each getting pups or do you still not know which of the two boys you are getting?  The picture you posted is adorable.  Looks like you are getting totally prepared!  Such an exciting time!  Have fun!!!!!
