Comparing Tallulah and Finn

I thought it would be interesting for new and existing doodle owners to see the difference in my two doodles. Here are pictures of both of them the day they came home. You can see how much bigger Finn is than Tallulah. . .exactly twice the size!!!! Tallulah was about 8 lbs when she came home and Finn was 15.7. Tallulah is a standard F1B, her mom was a doodle and her dad was a standard poodle. Finn is a giant teddy bear, his mom was a very large standard poodle and his dad was a very large golden retriever. So, my understanding is that Finn will not be as curly as Tallulah, but his fur will be more dense and wavy. It cracks me up to look back at Tallulah's picture and see that she wasn't very curly as a baby.. .boy did that change!!!!!

And yes, she is always wet. . .where there is water, there is Tallulah. . .and if she can't get to real water. . .her water bowl will do. . .all over the floor!!!!!!!

Sounds like Sam. He LOVES water. Except when Lake Michigan is tooo cold. He made that discovery last week. Rather surprised him. Went to run in, got his paws and legs wet and came flying out. BRRRRR. But soon it will warm up and he will be perpetually wet. I have a dedicated drying towel at the door just for him. What a beautiful dog you have and I love the color.
