COUCH? WHAT COUCH? ******UPDATE******

So I wanted a nice chair or small couch for our office room to read when I don't want to watch guy movies. DH wouldn't let me get a recliner, he said there's not enough room for it to recline. So he said one night let's go looking. That very night at the end of July-we came home with this small loveseat. He was even kind enough to by me the dogs a matching rug so they wouldn't slip when they jumped off. He did good, matches nice. So I was happy that after 7 years of ugly blue carpet and misc. furniture in this room it was finally coming together! Then on Saturday I had to leave at 5am to babysit my nephews-DH did not get up when I left (I got up at 3:30 with the dogs) I guess Chloe didn't like that because she decided to go brat on us and eat a hole in the middle of my new couch! Then Myla and her proceeded to pull the stuffing out and Myla was busted eating some in the hall when DH got up. Chloe was in the other room being cute. He called me at 7:30 and asked where I would like to dump my new couch! He was kind enough to leave it as is so I could get the full effect.

We were able to get the cushion replaced and we received it today!!!! Chloe watched DH without shame try to stuff it back together, it looks good lucky doodle!!!!!!!!

This is how I ended up with GoldenDoodles instead of the Great Dane that I wanted.  I read that Great Danes were prone to eating the sofa!  Glad I didn't read this story first or I never would of had the loves of my life!

OMD..........Ohhhhhhhhhhhh I know a pair who is in B I I I I I G trouble!!!  Tell them to count their blessings!  Their friend Tori would certainly be in the dog house (OUTSIDE)  for that one - lol

Actually, back in the day we had Haitian cotton pit furniture type couches....we had a Golden Retriever that did some remodeling to that couch.  He got a hold of just one piece of string and pulled and pulled until he had fringe exposing the wood on an entire side of the couch! Today... we laugh at that, but when we came home that night I wanted to cry!

Oh my.  All I can say is it's just a thing.  That's what happens when you have a Green Bay Packer Dog.  A Viking dog would NEVER do that!  LOL

oh no!!!! They always pick the worst (and most expensive) objects to destroy, don't they?! I'm embarassed to have people over to our house because of what's been done on the hallway carpet upstairs. Those stains will NEVER come out!

Thanks everyone-I can laugh with all of you, they should be feeling lucky mom was already gone and dad had to find it for a change. He just puts a gate up and goes on with the day! Yes they are hard to stay mad at. DH IS working on a cushion from the company-fingers crossed!

Not doodle - but our Springer at our couch and chair cushion by cushion.  We kept switching the cushions around, flipping them etc.  When we were down to two cushions we had to start over.  Luckily, he outgrew cushion gnawing.

OH NO!!!!!  I was reading along, thinking, "Oh this is so nice...her own couch retreat, 'lady cave'!"  Then, as these go, I could totally see the unfolding of what actually happened. The babies are so cute, and yet..............
