Hi all --
Many of you have been so wonderful to send well wishes for the recovery of my husband Jess. He chuckled weeks ago when I stumbled upon this site gazing at all your doodles when I had my own adorable little love always there to make me smile. Jess was hooked too...as we viewed your exquisite pets, many of them seeming to be long lost sisters and brothers to our little nutball, Phoebe. No matter how busy he was, he would always come over to me and my PC to look at other doodles with his broad smile.
I had purchased the Bistro auto-feeder a while back when I had a conflict getting home Mondays for Phoebe's noon meal. It has turned out to be an amazing "toy" and we watch her in amusement when the motor begins to churn and deliver her portion. (She eats in about ten seconds) Since Phoebe has been staying with a neighbor during the day, her "Bistro" is still there. So sure enough, I was greeted bedside with a large black nose nudging me with a little yelp. It gave me the courage to call Mayo and learned Jess made it through the night. Praying organs hang in there and no infections -- his chest is still open due to swelling. But I am trying very hard to take the baby steps and truly, your doodle love and support has been something I look forward to when my body can barely take another step.
On a brighter note, the "Phoebe Doo" rubber stamp is available through Stampotique. It is a mom and pop company owned by Carol and Jim, doodle and poodle parents along with a menagerie of other pets.
If you have trouble with the link you can look her up on Stampotique.com and search "Phoebe" and you will find it. The drawing image was made from a photo of Phoebes when she was about seven months.
Jess on now on the rotary pumps -- long surgery yesterday. The pumps are working and he is resting. So far, so good. Again, thank you all.
