Day 11 with Skylar

What a joy. Skylar is doing great. She loves to run and play outside. She is learning fetch with a ball and friz-bee.  She is getting along with kids and my wife even the crate is going well. She has this habit of pulling at my shirt when she wants to go out. She like hanging in the grass and chasing the mink in our back yard. yes mink. I have ordered some of the recommended food and treats you all suggested, Thank you!

Thanks so much for the update. You made my day! I am so glad that things are going well. She is going to settle in more and more - and a few bad habits are going to emerge but nothing you can't train.

So glad to hear that things are going well.  You are approaching the two week point where her really true personality should be coming out.  Many times the rescues just sort of lay low for a couple weeks and then start to come out of their shell.  I've had fosters that didn't bark for two weeks and then they found their voice.  That hung real close to me for two weeks and then would start to venture away a little more.  You guys are doing great with her.  Glad to hear you listened to the food advice.  Sounds like she has found a wonderful home.
