DISHONEST DOODLE BREEDER - "Update"

For anyone who saw my earlier warnings last fall about a breeder advertising his dogs on here I thought you might want an update. After many e-mails encouraging me to report this man to the humane society and to the police, Dave Nikell from River Oaks Farm in Winnipeg Manitoba, had his farm raided by the local Humane Society in Winnipeg Manitoba and by the RCMP. He was found to be running a puppy mill with over 50 labradoodle dogs in horrible conditions. All dogs have now been rescued and Mr. Nikell has been charged.

Wow... Thank you for the up date. It is so scary. You can not really tell how they are being treated just by looking at the web site.... When I was looking for my puppy, I tried look for a breeder where I can actually go to , and see the place and the parents, because of the concern for things like this....

Thanks for the responses all of you. It took weeks of complaints to the RCMP and the Winnipeg Humane Society before they raided Dave Nikel's farm (River Oaks Ranch). I have no doubt I was only one of many voices expressing concern.

Thanks for the update Mike. I am glad the dogs have been rescued and Nikell has been charged. I wish his punishment would be that he lives like the dogs he abused.
