I would just like to personally thank Laurie, Doris and F and everyone who contributed their  “two cents” to one of the best blogs I have read since I have joined DK. To begin with, it was an awesome story of people coming together and sharing the one love we all have in common, our Doodles.  Even though most of us have never met and we live all over the country, after a few months on DK we feel like neighbors.  Laurie’s original blog, F’s “Back Side of the Story” and Doris bringing us to the “real” truth of the trip and her pictures of Luca with the bunny were all sooo much fun.  I don’t remember when I have laughed that hard, even tears at times and loved a story more!   When all the replies started coming in, the “Adult Field Trip” got even funnier.  I love how DK members care about each other and share in the fun as if they were on the trip too!

DK is the best on-line forum out there.....hands down!    If only there were words to convey to the other people in my life how very REAL the people on DK are to me.    DK has been a pawsitively positive experience for Banjo and I!

I'm not a big fan of FB either, and I rarely post.  It just feels way too public. Mostly it keeps me connected to what the kids are doing and I use it to promote orchestra events.

Jane, I too have learned so much from DK!  I did not join DK until Libby was a year old and I soooo wish I would have been on this site during her "puppyhood"!  The knowledge I have gained here has been so helpful to us and just being able talk to other Doodle owners and know they understand how you feel about these amazing dogs is the wonderful!

Ricki, totally addicted here and there are days I am on for hours and hours!  DK is the best addiction anyone can have and we certainly are doing no harm to us or anyone else:)  Oh gee, there is a downsize to this addtiction, like housework, paying the bills, running errands, etc, etc, :)  LOL

If it take a village to raise a child then I think we have the equivalent of a doodle village right here and while there have been a few equivalents to the village idiot luckily they don't stick around long. :>)

I agree Lonnie, DK and DKers are awesome. They are the smartest, kindest, tell it like it is people I know. They make me laugh, cry and on more than one occasion have made me snort my coffee. I am on FB but spend a minimum amount of time there.

Sandy, when I try to explain DK to people some of them think I am nuts:) That's ok with me:)   They say, " a site for Doodle owners" and I proudly say yes!  I go on to tell them the knowledge, support, and the fun we have and at that point they get somewhat interested.  In my opinion, DK is far better then FB!  With exception of my family/close friends I do not connect with people on FB the way I do on DK.
