It was 42 degrees today in central Ohio. Cali has not had much excersise as it has been so cold, snowy and icey that we have been just going outside long enough for her to go potty and back into the house we go. So we decided we would go visit a dog park today to let her run if she wanted to.

We weren't really sure how she would do as she has always been a bit timid around other people and has not been around other dogs much at all since we have had her. So were like two nervous parents letting our baby out in the outside world for the first time. We got to the dog park and there were quite a few dogs already, so our apprehension increased. So I suggested that we would explore other areas within the park that were empty.

Our fears were for naught. She walked into the dog park, walked up to the other dogs, sniffed and all was good. She ran around for a good hour with all the other dogs, we followed her around and just let her play with her new found friends. She let everyone pet her and she wasn't afraid, she would look up to make sure we were still within sight and take off running again. She had a really good time.

Yay for Cali. A good day at the dog park is worth gold sometimes! So glad she adjusted well to that environment right away!
