Hey! A couple days ago we got hit by Irene, and Tucker loved all the commotion! We sat out on the front porch with him watching the storm. He ran around the yard and barked at all the blowing trees. Then, he came back up onto the porch with us. After sitting on my cozy porch and reading my book, I looked up and saw that Tucker wasn't there! I panicked! I had heard a car start up earlier, so I thought that maybe Tucker chased it! That wasn't in Tucker's nature. I looked around. I closed my eyes and counted to 10 to stop from panicking. When I opened my eyes, there he was. Sitting at my feet. I laughed. I realized he must have gone under the porch and done his business. Another doodle detail that I must share with you is called; TUCKER ATE MY MIDDLE SCHOOL SCHEDULE. The title pretty much says it all. I have to get a new one from the school guidance counseler. I can imagine the conversation;

Me: Mrs. Arco, I need a new schedule.

Mrs. Arco: Why do you need a new schedule?

Me: My dog ate it.

Mrs. Arco: That's the silliest excuse I have ever heard.

Me: No seriously. My dog ate it. I can show you the xray of his stomach.

Mrs Arco: Right, now what's the real reason.

Me: Well, you can either believe my dog ate it, or my pet dinosaur used it for a tissue.

Mrs. Arco: Okay. Here's your new schedule. Tell your dinosaur to use something else as a tissue.

Well, I hope you enjoyed! Now, in the comment section, type the strangest thing your doodle has ever eaten! If he hasn't eaten anything, type what you hope he won't eat! And those are the doodle deets of today!

Lets see: my prescription glasses, solar lights from the yard, any stick available, my grandson Lucas' pacifier and pretty much any piece of plastic that passes by.

Achilles once ate my sons homework, he brought the remaining piece in as proof. The teacher just laughed.

Another well written blog. Fudge and Vern go outside and eat the nuts that fall from the trees. They are nuts :)

Let me see, probably the worst thing Huff has ever chewed/eaten is the eraser side of a pencil, and part of an utility bill. He has tried to eat an eraser several times. Chewed up only 1,000 toys (ok that may be a little stretch in truth). Torn holes on many towels, chewed the corners of his playpen, and the arm of a chair, chewed my laptop charger in half, Dozens and dozens of tissues and paper towels. 2-3 leashes and his super long leash was chewed in half by a golden retreiver named Sundance. Several paires of socks, plastic bags.  But that isn't a lot right?

Our doodle shreds paper..not so much eats. But she has chewed my sons school cap/hat. Better buy a new one.

I taught middle school for 25 years.  That was before I had a dog of my own.  During my time in the classroom, I'd have kids try to give me the "dog ate my homework" excuse.  I always assumed they were lying.  Well, now that I have Sedona, I know that it really might have been true - maybe at least a few times. Knock on wood - Sedona's never eaten anything important.  I guess the worst thing was the "to do" my husband had written out for himself.  Fortunately, he didn't use this as an excuse "to NOT do".

Glad Tucker wasn't afraid of the storm. Owen chewed a Netflix DVD that had been put "out of his reach" on a shelf 4 ft high. Why is a question to ponder.

This is very cute.  Just this morning Murphy ate the face off our our grandkids' Dora The Explorer...not the whole head just the face.
