Okay, Tucker's fur problem has been getting WAY out of control. It is crazy. The breeder said; "Oh, this little puppy won't shed a hairball!"  She was right, he probably shed itleast 500 hairballs a day! I mean, we could probably make another doodle out of all the hairballs he sheds! So, sometime within the rest of the year, Tucker is going to probably get...(pause for dramatic effect) A HAIRCUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good news for us but not for him. Now let's hear what Tucker has to say about this encounter.

 

L: Now, Tucker, what is it like getting a haircut at Dogma?

 

T: It feels like I am a naked doodle.

 

L: How do you think this haircut is going to effect your reputation?

 

T: I think I'll be a cool dude. Literally, I will have no fur to keep me warm. As for the reputation thing, I don't think this will be good for the ladies. The doods will probably laugh.

 

L: Are you excited?

 

T: For what?

 

L: Your haircut?

 

T: What about it?

 

L: Are you excited for your haircut?

 

T: I don't understand the question.

 

L: (getting frustrated.) Oh, so I guess then you can understand this question: If you are skydiving with a giagantic monkey using an elephant for a parachute and a good-natured koala gives you a spoon to eat icecream but you don't have any icecream and he gives you eucalyptus icecream but you are allergic to bunny rabbits, what do you do?

 

T: Yeah, I understand it. Just ask your friend for a keyboard.

 

L: So you understand that crazy question but not: Are you excited?

 

T: About what?

 

L: I give up!

 

My doodle has been getting haircuts forever. I bet all the other doodle owners have their doodle(s) get haircuts too!

Ned doesn't shed but Clancy DOES - and our groomer said he wouldn't shed too much.  HUH??? we no longer wear dark clothing and can't even get the fur off our rugs.

Must be something with the name because my Tucker sheds like a bugger!! I have puppy fluff tumble weeds...lol.We went around the whole house yesterday sucking up the tumbleweeds even though we dont have carpet they are too hard to sweep....they are so fluffy the just seem to blow around....**sigh** between my himmy and my doodle it looks like a furry house for a very long time.Sure wish my favorite color to wear wasnt black....lol
