Doodling in SoCal

Clark and I were lucky enough to meet with Bev & Willy, Nancy & Ned (and hubby), Eileen Ross & Cody, Edith & Lucy, Richard Crowe & Holly, and Kate & Yarra (with guest Mel). Bev was kind enough to open up her beautiful home to us -- her yard is AMAZING! It's a human, kid, and doodle paradise! Though I'm not sure my photos quite captured its beauty and function.

I fell in love with Bev's blue merle goldendoodle Willy. He's just a cuddle bug and I was ready to take him home with me =) Lucy was adorable, Ned just as cute as in photos...MORE so. Lucy and Ned were speed demons and played a ton. Holly also a doll and soooo pretty! Cody reminded me of Rosco in many ways...big, silly, addicted to squeekies, and more! And Yarra and Mel were hilarious! Yarra, queen of the water, was the only one to dive into the pool. Meanwhile, I did my best to convince Cody to put even a paw into the pool using blueberry muffin...but I was the one who got trained to walk in deeper and deeper so that my shorts were wet the rest of the time. And screen doors were only knocked over twice! Once by one of the smallest dogs!

We chatted, laughed, ate and hung out most of the day. It was great fun =)

This is SO cool! Wish I could have been there to meet you and the others, Adina, but I had to be in San Diego where my best friend's mom was in the hospital. Thanks so much for all the wonderful pics!
