alot, but not all, of the chicken and duck jerky is from China and is irradiated. i wont give Cooper any. It often says quality checked in the US or Canada which is confusing. China is often in very little writing. We have found some from Thailand which we got delivered to our store the other day... not much better I know, but its not irradiated

I, too, was feeding Emma the chicken jerky from Costco (made in China) and found that she was having constant loose poops and was vomiting yellow bile very often.  So, I purchased a fairly expensive dehydrator and have been making my own jerky, which has made a huge difference in Emma's poops, and she's vomiting much, much less frequently (usually when she hasn't eaten her dinner).

I've had the same USA in big letters stuff and made in China in small letters. so deceptive!

Ya we bought Huff somed tennis balls from steter brothers that had an american flag on the packaging so we gave hem to him that night we noticed they smelled bad so we looked at the back of the packaging and it said made in china. Those liars.
P.s: they are only distributed in the U.S

I was looking at some jerky treats yesterday at Petsmart, they looked good, cost around $19, and the front of the package had "USA" on it. I put them in my my cart and continued to browse the store.  Something told me to look at the package and sure enough on back in really small lettering it said, "Made in China".  It really irked me because it was a company based in the USA but the product was made in China. Kind of deceptive if you ask me.  I wont buy fish for myself that is from China - and i wont buy it for my dog either!  You really have to look closely at what foods you buy anymore!

Ya I want to start making my own treats for Huff. But I can never find time only on some weekends or holidays. I have my own recepie for Jerky, but thanks anyways. We try not to give him anything thats made in china, but thats hard these days. Mabey when I do make Jerky I can make a really big batch and then we can have it for a long time. Thanks:)

I agree with everyone else. I won't buy food made in China. I've made my own jerky too but I still froze it afterward.

Cant trust the products from china, I wont buy any of them.  I've started making chicken jerky for Monty.  Slice very thin strips of chicken breast, place on greased cookie sheet, bake in oven at 180 for 3 hours.  100% pure chicken, much, much less costly than chicken jerky from the store.

I buy jerky from hollistic pet food stores and still always check to be sure it was made in Canada or USA. I think it is risky to buy dog food/treats made in China, I've heard too many scary stories!
