Duncan Turns 2!
I realized I am WAY behind on my DK news and decided to get back into the swing of things by posting about yesterday's milestone. My sweet pup has crossed the threshold into adulthood. I have no idea how it happened - only yesterday we were running through the house with a peeing puppy trying to teach him to potty outside, then all of the sudden it's February 7, 2014 and he's not a puppy anymore.
I hope we made it special for him. I know that here, on DK, it is safe to confess that I came home from a loooong day of work and cooked my guy a special dinner of boiled chicken breast, yams, and greens (even though my husband and I ate Chinese takeout). I know you won't judge me here when I tell you that we ended the day with some dog-friendly birthday cake (which I baked myself) and a round of happy birthday. I even tried some of the cake - it wasn't half bad!
So now we begin a new phase of this crazy doodle world - adulthood.
