Good news. The EPO arrived. It is as stated. I got 5 bottles for the price of 2. They are mfg in NY state but Karen might point out that I don't know where the ingredients came from and she'd be right. After I posted and some people had ordered I became slightly anxious that it was too good to be true and I read, after the fact that customer service at Puritan's Pride was not good. As of now though all is fine. I hope the doodles will take them!

I received my EPO yesterday and tried it out on my guys. They don't know or care that it is a different brand. So we are good to go! Finally I have enough to last for a while with 7 bottles for a bit over $20.

I ordered as soon as I saw the post. I haven't received anything yet except the e-mail that it was "on its way." As soon as I do get it and give it to the dogs, I will post whether they seem to care about the brand.Up to this point, I just put the entire capsule and the G &C in the food. Simon slurps it down with the food, Gordie picks it out and saves it for desert, and Ned, who saves his food to eat at night, eats the capsule immediately.

Ours came yesterday. I put the capsules in Harlow's food and scarfs it down with her breakfast. The prices were so good that I got a couple of bottles of EPO & Soy for me. =o)

Ours came today. I gave each of the girls one and the took them, but seemed to have trouble as they tried to chew them and it looked like they were chewing gum. They would spit them out and pick them back up and try again. So I just did them like I did the fish oil capsules and I took the scissors and punctured the top and then they were able to chew them up and all was well. I'm counting the days till they start looking healthier and hopefully a little less dry and itchy.

I was worried about whether Nugget would take the capsules, too, but I just put them in the middle of her food bowl at night with her dinner and they are devoured along with the rest of her food....in about 20 seconds.

I always have to put them down Jack's throat anyway, so it won't matter if these aren't exactly the same aroma, etc. as the others. Just so they work the same.
But he can tell the difference between one brand of pill and another. It's amazing. He used to take his pills in Pill Pockets, which he loved. I had been buying CVS brand loratidine, and bought it at the grocery store one day instead. He spit it out immediately. After several tries, I compard the brands and saw that the inactive ingredients were slightly different. I went to CVS and got another bottle, and he took it with no problem. So those whose dogs just eat them like treats may notice a difference.
That nose knows, lol!

Glad this is working out . We can all save a bunch of money by steering each other to good deals. Both my doodles spit the capsule out and had have "help" taking them.

My foster doodle eats the capsule right out of my hand. Ewww..

But she is looking so much better. Her coat is repairing nicely. I give EPO a lot of the credit.

Mine are on the way also. If everything is as planned, I save a bunch of money.
