Sorry....forgot to mention that the front of our bottle of EPO says its dose is 500 mgs, but the dosing is to give two capsules....so we have to give her two capsules to get the 500 in. (each cap is really only 250) Just read your bottle to be sure.

We give Nugget 500 mgs in her dinner at night. She weighs 50 lbs. At first, I thought I had to split open the capsules, but thanks to some other DKers, I found out it would be fine for Nugget to chomp them down whole!

This won't be an overnight success, but you should notice a difference in less than a week.

If anyone else lives near a Stop and Shop, they are "bogo" this week. (Buy one, get one.) Nugget has been doing very well on the EPO for two weeks now. Much less itchy. At first, I was combining with 10 mgs Claritin, but now she's off that and just doing EPO.
