Expecting pups any day! (But not Lyric's) UPDATE!

I have just gotten home from a trip to pick up Tapas, a lovely chocolate LD who had pups here with me a few years ago--she is now expecting 6 pups and is due sometime in the next few days. I will have them here with me for 5 weeks and then they go to the breeder's houser and I can put my feet up! Two weeks later, Lyric will be due, so I will need to get some rest!

I will keep you all posted on the birth of the litter and of course, will be happy to share pictures with my puppy loving DK friends! I think this litter might be all black or chocolate.

They are so cute and SOOO shiny. Wow! They really look like healthy little babies. It looks like the pup in the center has a little white spot on the rear foot? Tara has one just like it too. :)

Yes! Three are quite curly--the dad has a lovely soft and spiralled fleece coat and mom is pretty curly too--they should be very pretty pups.The are all happy today as long as they are eating! Mom is doing great.

6 black pups (4 girls, 2 boys) born this evening after 12 hours of labor and 2 hours of whelping--all went well and momma dog and I are going to sleep now--although, I am sure I will get more rest than she will!
