First "blizzard" of 2009

[Hunter and Daisy's Doodle Mom]

Well, this is Daisy and Hunter's first experience with snow and it came in the form of a blizzard! They didn't know what to make of it at first, but now they absolutley LOVE it! The only problem I'm having is that the clumps of snow are not only between the pads of their feet, but also the feathering on the bottom of their legs. They want to play with the towel more than let me get the clumps off! It became a "team effort" on Hunter - while I was getting the snow off his back legs, he and Daisy were licking and chewing the clumps off the front. It became comical after a few minutes, so I just let them run around the house and I followed behind, picking up the clumps as they fell off him!
I don't like snow, but times like this make it worth it! Lucky for them, they'll have another 4-5 months of it!

I am keeping towels and a mop by the back door! With a high of 7 today, they didn't stay out as long.

Great photos! I wish we could get a little snow here so Peri could experience it - we haven't had snow that deep (like your photos) since I was a little girl!
