From Bad to Worse

Sunday my car window was smashed and my purse was stolen. Today, my husband lost his job. Are the gods toying with me? Do bad things really always come in three's? If so, I am really screwed! Thank heavens for Phoebe who helped me stay focused today. I never knew de-matting could be so therapeutic!

Just hang in there, I was always the cockeyed optimist, it will get better, I always tried to believe that when when door closes, another one opens...I don't know what kind of business your husband is in, but maybe he will find something even better then this last job. My friends husband lost his job after 10 yrs, and he finally decided to go into business for himself. Well it is working out well, and his wife and kids are all helping...Just keep your head and spirits up, good things do happen....Cheryl

The craziest--saddest, most depressing--part of his is that we uprooted our lives back East to move here for this job! My parents just moved here to be near us this past August. When it rains, it really does pour!!!

Hang in there--this time last year my husband lost his job after a 20 year career and we had just put a deposit on a second doodle. We decided to go ahead with it as my husband would be home to train it! :) As the year went on our son and my brother-in-law also lost their jobs. You are definitely not alone.

Oh no, I'm so sorry. 2010 is not turning out well for you yet. Sometimes we just don't understand the "whys" behind these things at first, but later we understand it was just all part of the plan for us. "Paws and chin up"...I believe it will all get better.
