Getting better

[Toby]

Toby is now officially four months old. We have had him since the middle of July. It is starting to get a little better. Someone had told my husband and I that the first six months is hard with a dog, as is the last six months . He is adjusting really well and I just love him . He makes me smile or laugh even when I don't want to. I guess that is why people love their dogs. The leash walk is getting better although the first five minutes it's all about eating the leash, getting tangled in the leash, trying to shake the leash off. Once past that , it's kind of fun.

I think I was feeling the exact same way at around this age with Duncan. I hardly remember his biting, chewing, peeing, whining, rowdy infancy :).
