Getting big!! BIG!!!

Finally had a chance to weigh Samson yesterday.....holy smokes, he's 73 pounds!!! I can't believe it. He is 8 1/2 months old. I did not realize he gained that much because I have no notice of him getting bigger!!!

He is a beauty though!!!

Thanks for all the compliments on Samson! You are right, you don't realize how big your dog is until you weigh him...,my mother in law thinks he is huge and I really don't think he is that big! To me, he seems just as big as my chocolate lab Odie who was 85 pounds. So, I'm used to bigger dogs. He is handsome though!!! LOL!

It is funny how size sneaks up on us isn't it. People are always commenting on how "huge" Lucy and Sophie are, and they really don't seem all that big to me I guess because I got used to them as they grew. Sophie is only 50 lbs and people think she is huge. Lucy is 65 and she looks much larger because of the length of her hair. Samson is beautiful though and I think he will probably gain some more too.
