Groggy puppy !!

We took Toffee to the vets today to have her spayed.  (I do not know if you use the same term used in the US but bascially she's had her lady's bits out).

It's late here in rainy Hertfordshire and I'm babysitting a very dozy pup !!   She can't decide what she wants to do.  Walking seems impossible at the moment, but I just wish she would sleep properly.  I think she's worried we'll leave her.

We were quite fortunate, because of the weather, that we didn't have many trick or treaters tonight.  Her "boyfriend" from two doors down, (Cockerpoo), did come to the door dressed up in a cape though - very cute !!

I'm hoping she's a little better in the morning.  DH has work tmrw so it's been left to me to sleep on the sofa in case she needs to go potty.  Hope the rain stops.

Toffee, great name. She will be less groggy tomorrow but it will be okay, it takes a few days and you do have to keep her quiet. Probably lots of napping going on tomorrow as well.

Toffee is gorgeous!! She's be back to her spunky self before you know it and then your concern will be trying to keep her quiet while she heals!!

I love the name Toffee!! I am sure she is groggy from the anesthesia and just needs to rest. This is a good thing because of the stitches and needing to be less active. I loved when they slept and I didn't have to worry. She will probably be close to normal tomorrow.  Good luck!!
