Guess Who Turned One This Week?

It's hard to believe but Miss Natalie turned ONE this Monday! Since a few of you wished her a Happy Birthday I thought I'd post a blog with some recent pics of the littlest love of my life.

This is her last week. She discovered this tray holder is a GREAT little toy but you'll see she doesn't really need it:

We had a little Birthday party with Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma and had a wonderful time last night.

Getting ready to feed her new baby. What was totally cute is after we moved on to other presents, she still was stuck on her new baby (which was now back in the box and on the floor in front of her). She leaned over the sofa and reached down and said "Baby" =) Sooo cute! She has several words she uses: Mamma/Mommy, Dada, Ba Ba (for "back" that she says to the dogs to get out of her way), nana (banana), uh-oh, bye-bye, hi, kitty (though I've never heard her say it her baby sitter who has a kitty told me), she repeats 'nigh nigh' for night-night, and she signs "more".

She mostly preferred to smash her cake rather than eat it =)

Here's to a fabulous first year with Natalie and looking forward to decades more!

Thanks so much for this blog, Adina! I LOVE this stage when they first learn to walk and talk. The video is adorable....she's so proud of herself. The Doodles better watch out...she'll be chasing them around now that she's really mobile.

What an adorable video. I think we will always remember that Natalie has a birthday just after Thanksgiving. I remember last year we were all posting guesses as to what her birth date would be!! Time sure does fly! She is just too cute for words. What a fun age too! Happy Birthday little Natalie!

Wow, I can't believe it!! Happy birthday Natalie. No wonder she fits into all those adorable outfits--smashing cake is much lower in calories, in fact it uses them, than eating it. Walking with such exuberance. An impressive vocabulary. Neither Luca, nor Calla, both of whom are older than Natalie have mastered any words at all. But they send good wishes anyway. to think we all knew her when....
