HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY BUDDY BOY!

How can 5 years go by soooooo fast?????? I have never had a dog more intelligent, alert and watchful as Buddy. If he is bored, he steals something to wag in front of your face. If he sees Kona on my lap in the Lazy Boy, he has now come to take his turn, and he won't be satisfied with just a half a lap. The foot rest goes out and he is full on LOL (I need to get hubby to get a picture of that one!) His food clock is unbelieveable and he knows that Daddy is a pushover. He loves to pose for me and anyone else with a camera. He is incredibly loving and adores kids. He is more patient than I would ever be with his little sister. My heart just bursts when I see that little Brat Kona try to steal his bone or ball, and he just simply walks away and let's her have it :) He never makes her squeek in play, but she has nipped his poor ears enough that he won't return a ball if she is chasing him. It is hard to explain to "normal" people the feelings I have for these sweet and wonderful creatures. I would rather be known as the dog person of the office than any other title :) Happy Birthday to my sweet boy, and thank you all for not letting me be alone in my "doodle mania" !!!!

We have not been to DoodleKisses for a while... but I just read and love your comment about the feelings you have for your Buddy. I have always owned Standard Poodles and loved them so much... but it's overwhelming the feelings and love we have for our doodle boy, Riley. Thank you for sharing!

What a sweet description of Buddy. He really is such a sweet boy. I am not a "normal" person so I totally understand your feelings. I love my Gracie Doodle and she is my best friend.
