Please don't forget us!  Don't hang our names up in the Doodle Kisses Members' MISSING Section - with the caption.... have you seen 'these two'...I'm afraid we may show up on the back of a Nyla-bone or Kong package in Petsmart soon.... but,  as one of my (used to be favorite) actors said, "I'll be bock".... when, you ask????  When I can steal some time for myself and my friends!  Since school has started up again, and football and fall baseball season are in full 'swing' (no pun intended), it seems that all I have time to do is sneak a peak....(well, and write this blog).  but you are all not far from our thoughts!  I will pop on from time to time to see what is going on. Perhaps jot in a comment or two.... I see I have missed some close calls with our doodle friends and gators, to shrunken polar bears, Laurie and her partner in crime,  Ricki (of the Lauricki team) have started a new game... one in which requires way too much thought on my part these days.  so please take this mighty

DOODLE {{{{{   H  U  G  }}}}}                from Tori and I, and know that we miss you all, and I am looking forward to NEXT weekend  when days may be less hectic and I can get back to what is REALLY important..... All of YOU!

Laurie... I know! REALLY!  (huff)   My youngest (now) is in marching band and fall baseball, and HE is "my one" who makes me really work for that title of "Super Mom"  - lol... he 's my struggling 'student', constantly tests my extreme patience, and always wants to be on the go.  He requires a lot of help with school work, papers, etc....just what I feel like doing too after teaching all day - :>)   but these 'times' as I have learned go way too fast, so I guess he's worth it (maybe......lol)

Lynda - I usually do have at least one or two student teachers a year... I and SOOOOO agree - yes, for some things four hands and two bodies are much better, but every down minute is spent going over plans, procedures, etc... so much of my work comes home (even more than before).  It's tough to give them the correct training and guidance while you try to 'train' a new class at the beginning of the year.  SHE IS GREAT - thank goodness!  these colleges also expect a lot from cooperating teachers - write ups, etc.  but I have to 'give back' wherever/whenever I can!  isn't that what it's all about!  :>)

But a student teacher is another body in the room, can be quite helpful, and it is good to have another person to knock things around with after class.  Student teachers are good!

AWE.. THANKS, Nancy... and I even took on a student teacher to boot... perhaps NOT the best idea to begin a new year... LOL   .hopefully after this weekend and upcoming week, things will slow down a bit!

We miss you but certainly understand how busy teachers are in the fall, especially ones with children who also get their activities going at the same time.
