Here We Go Again! Foster #2

Meet Jett! He is a one year old Labradoodle that we pulled for the DRC this morning from the local animal shelter. He was surrendered for financial reasons. He weighs 46 lbs and he is so gentle and calm. We are once again going through the adjustment phase here with our two girls. Strange this time Sophie seems to love him and Lucy doesn't. hummmmm.

He looks like he is a real sweetie. Thanks so much for fostering him. He looks so soft and wavy. I bet he is going to be a real snuggle-bunny.

He's beautiful, and I am so thankful that he was in your area and not mine because he looks so much like Callie that I would never be able to let him go. As you know, you're doing such a wonderful thing!!! The only problem is now I can't stop singing "Jet" in my head now! Can't wait to hear more about Jett's adventures with your girls!!

:) Each time is so different. Thanks for fostering. I know how difficult and rewarding it can be. Thanks also for being here representing Ohio. We need you. I have had to take a reprieve since Starlit needs so much!! My job this month is to get her socialized. She really HATES people.

Thanks everyone for all your well wishes. I think that Lucy will eventually come around. I think that they just have to get things sorted out. We had a good first night with Jett in his crate in our room and the girls in their room. He had a bath yesterday and he did really well. His coat is so soft and so shiny. So far he isn't a barker, and he isn't a jumper. He is just the sweetest little boy. If I didn't already have 2 I might be in trouble!

Sherri - THANK YOU for literally saving Jett's life. The shelter he came from is not a very nice place from what I am told. Jett would have not lived for very much longer. His only crime is that his family is in financial difficulties.

He's beautiful! Maybe this time, at least you won't have as much shedding! Do you think the fact that this one is black and Topper was blonde has anything to do with the difference in the girl's attitudes?
