HOLLY BRINGS SMILES WITH HER...

I had the occasion to be waiting with Holly outside a local supermarket while Judy, my wife, did some last minute 2008 purchases. As I waited, I reflected on how wonderful it is to have a Doodle and to have one like Holly in particular.

Virtually every person who entered or left the store either came over and petted Holly or smiled at her as they passed us. She has a seemingly magical quality about her that brings the same smiles to stranger's faces as she brings to our hearts.

Holly has been accepted into Therapy Dog Boot Camp and was supposed to begin in late January. However, I am going to have a knee replaced on February 2nd so I postponed the boot Camp to September 2009. Holly will have her CGC by then and we will be able to share her with people less fortunate than we are. I am sure she will bring a bit of happiness to the hearts of people who don't have so much to be happy about.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL YOU LUCKY DOODLE OWNERS AND TO THOSE PERSONS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN OUR WONDERFUL DOGS!
