How to Tell When You are Really Sick!

I have had the flu for two days. My two nurses, Fudge and Vern, are very different in their approach. Fudge checks on me constantly to make sure I am ok. Vern runs in briefly, but doesn't want to be detained in any way. He is a busy boy. Luckily, my DH came home early from work to help me out. I told him I haven't eaten anything all day and still felt bad. However, when I told him I did not even have the energy to get on DK, he said, "Wow! Now I know you are really sick."  From now on, that will be my sick rating....if I can't get on DK throughout the day, I am truly sick!!

If it's not recognized by the AMA it should be, if you are too sick to DK that's serious. Feel better soon.

Awww...Laurie....sure hope you're feeling way better tonite!!!   That sounds like a perfectly reasonable scale to rate the severity of an illness....I wonder if it's recognized by the AMA.
