What a wonderful day we had! I came onto to Doodle Kisses and saw you guys left me messages that you donated to Hurleys surgery! Thank you so much! We had one doodle, Quincy that even posted a picture of his piggy bank! That he emptied out for Hurley! My kids loved that picture! Of course, when we got home, they had to make a poster that said Thank You and I posted on our photo page!!

Thank you all so much for your kindness! We live in a world where I tell my kids not to trust people, and that back when I was growing up it was so much better. With what we are going through , with Hurley,we are seeing the love and kindness of strangers! Who now we call our family. You have surrounded us with love and my kids are seeing a whole different world! This is becoming so much more..my kids are helping with flyers, wanting to make posters that say Thank You, they came with me today to meet with the editor of our local newspaper. They are seeing so much kindness. Thank you for this..!

The kids, me and Hurley drove down to the place where my parents are buried. Oh my goodness..I let out Hurley and he decided to dig a hole...which was not the best idea! So I had to put him back in the car! Yes..not in the best spot either..you should of seen my kids rushing to get him! I am sorry,,but we got the giggles! Hurley enjoyed his car ride! He had his head out the window the whole time! He loved it!

Tonight I made my first Facebook page! Yes, it is through Hurleys eyes..check it out if ya like! Friend us..is that right way to say that? Ha ha! http://www.facebook.com/hurley.goldendoodle is his link...

The ripple effects of your search for help go on and on.  It's wonderful that your children are now so involved and are seeing good in the world and not bad, this experience will be tremedous for them as they grow into adults and make their mark on the world.  I have found that even in the the very worst that life can throw at you that there is often a silver lining which is never visible at the outset but that reveals itself over time.
