She's here..she's here. Lilly is here with me in my house and in my heart. Papa Scott and I are over the moon thrilled. So here's the day. I woke up without the alarm clock at 6AM. We drank some coffee, I took a shower and was otu of the house by 7. We are unable to use HWY 29 since the floods closed the road. ( I am very bitter with Corp of Engineers not letting water out of the dam sooner.. but I am in to good of a mood to b*tch about it here) After driving through corn field roads and stopping at Cracker Barrel for bisquits and gravy, we continued to Tara's house (breeder) and little Lilly.

Lilly met us in a towel since she had just gotten a bath. Tara's daughter Bella- age 6 had chosen Lilly (lucy is what they called her) as her favorite and loved her and carried her around. We brought her a stuffed dog..(one of those webkins..whatever that is) and a letter thanking her for taking such good care of Lilly.

I held Lilly on my lap for the trip on. I had taken a baby blanket and rubbed Lilly's mom with it to get her scent on it. Her is what I took for the 3 hours home. Water. ( and that container thing that you put water in and it goes in a bowl and then you turn the bowl up and the water goes back in the container.. have no idea what it is called..but pretty cool.) puppy pads, baby wipes, changing pad to put on my lap in case of accidents, collar, leash, carrying case, and puppy food. Oh and I took the camera for a ride since I was toooo excited and forgot to take pictures.. 

As soon as we got home, I put her on the grass and she went pee. She is training me to take her out. I missed once and she went on the kitchen floor.

I ahve been up and down and on the floor and outside more in 4 hrs since I dont' remember when. wish I had a photo of Scott in the doggy playpen with Lilly. More tomorrow on how tonight goes.

Mimi...Ummm, I saw the picture of all the stuff...the good news is my house is big enought to handle all of it when Lilly comes to stay.  Can't wait to take the girls out shopping!

You sound like one excited Mama... don't blame you.  My husband and I are counting the days, 12 to be exact, till be have Sophia home.  As I said before, hope you are able to get some sleep tonight!!!  Where did you find the doggy play pen?  Looks interesting.  Sending you hugs and can't wait to hear EVERYTHING...
