I don't know how I lived more than half of my life without access to the internet. But there are drawbacks like inaccurate information, spam etc. The price differential between sites boggles my mind, however. I was just looking at a travel guide book. From $7.65 to $73. Caveat emptor.

Caveat emptor = buyer beware.  Just thought I would add that in since I had to look it up.

This reminds me of text books.   My University charged $ 276.00 for a one book.   I purchased it online for $26.00.  The online site had the same book from $21.00 - $280.00.    So the Universities have caught on finally.   My son had a book last semester.  Same book, but each semester and internet component is added.  So , we had the buy the SAME book we already had because you could not buy the internet separate.  WTB?

$186.00 for a book that we already had.  I was a little loud that day in the bookstore.

You spend 5 hours lately trying to spend $5.00
