Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

This is Sparrow we have had him since July 6th and he is basically in charge of my life at this point.  I admit I did not think a puppy would be as much work as he has turned out to be, but he is worth it; most days!

We are taking him to a puppy training class and working hard on his homework.  He has a big heart and a funny personality so the work is worth it. But we are looking forward to the end of his "puppy troubles".

Does anyone know when goldendoodles are fully mature? I know larger breeds mature later, but I am not sure where goldendoodles fall.

Congrats! They all mature at different rates, so my advice is just to enjoy the adventure!

I guess I will just have to wait and see what his final size will be, it will be a surprise! Hopefully not too big a one ;)

I see so many beautiful dogs on this website and so many variations on size, color, and type of coat, it is so enjoyable to scroll thru the pictures. Thanks for posting everyone.

Congratulations on your adorable pup!  I have a mini and a standard....my little guy matured a lot at just over a year, but my big guy is still very much a puppy at 2 and a half. It kind of depends on the dog.

Sparrow is darling.  Doodles are like other dogs, smaller ones reach maturity sooner than the larger ones.
