Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Although this is not Thanksgiving I think it is a good time to be thankful. I am thankful for my doodle everyday, I am thankful that he is a good dog. I am thankful that he is healthy and happy. I am thankful that off leash he never wanders off, always stays in sight and if I am lagging behind he will stop and wait for me.  He comes when he is called even when there is another dog involved. He is gentle with children and doesn't jump on people when greeting them. He doesn't bolt when the door opens and the one time someone left the door open and he went outside without us knowing he stayed on the lawn and played with his ball. He doesn't mind wearing his boots and snow suit even and though he doesn't like the getting dressed part he doesn't make it difficult. He will willingly get on the grooming table even though he doesn't like to get brushed.

I am thankful for DK and all the laughter, tears, friends and all the knowledge and advice it brings to me. While it hasn't always been a good year in other areas of my life it has been a good doodle year.

Quincy and I wish you a very Happy New Year, may you too have a good doodle year and a good year in all aspects of your life.

Happy New Year to you! Quincy sounds wonderful. Can I send Achilles to visit and maybe it will rub off on him.
