Yesterday while we were out and about enjoying the beautiful fall day, we decided to take a walk downtown to grab a little lunch. Just as we were parking the car we spotted this beauty prancing down the sidewalk.

We all know that men are not known for reading directions and my DH is no exception. We bought a new barbecue grill with some assembly required. The instructions said 'easy assembly' but the person who wrote that had obviously not met my DH.

I try not to get involved in these things but as inevitably happens I get sucked into helping. Now helping to assemble a barbecue was not in my plans at 9:30 in the evening but DH just had to put that barbecue together tonight. I…

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day and I decided to go on a quest to find the whales. The season has been kind of slow starting and I was beginning to think my whale radar was broken. For those of you who read the Capelin are Rolling and saw the video, I guess you could call this the sequel. We spent a couple of hours yesterday delighting in the whales at Cape Spear. Today was supposed to be a rainy day but instead it was 75 degrees and sunny. I spent a little time doing some gardening and clean up from a recent wind storm and then we went out for our afternoon outing, which is what we do on all nice days on the weekends. I think Mother Nature is just mean but Quincy was tickled pink at what we found when we went outside this morning. I was a little confused, it looked more like Christmas than Easter. Tomorrow marks our two year doodleversary. It's hard to believe it's been two years since Quincydoodle came into our lives, the time has gone by so fast. It took me two years of research and showing DH millions of cute puppy pictures to finally get him to agree to getting a dog. I wanted a big dog that was low shedding and that led me to the goldendoodle. From the day he came home we were hooked, so much so that DH keeps talking about getting another one.
