Jennifer needs our help (Jennifer and Jack)

As many of you know, Jennifer (of Jennifer and Jack) has serious health issues. She was sent to National Jewish Hospital last year to try to find help for her Cystic Fibrosis and other unrelated chronic conditions. They discovered a hole in her heart and attempted to repair that with some serious consequences.

Jennifer has the opportunity to be at National Jewish again, and I am hoping some of her friends at DK can help her out. She was supposed to be in Colorado for a short time but that time has been extended due to the seriousness of her condition. 

A friend of Jennifer's started a fund raising campaign a while atom but it is not enough. Jennifer is on disability and her health insurance does not cover the care that she needs.

Jennifer has been an inspiration to many of us with her positive outlook on life and determination to live the best life possible under the circumstances. I know she blesses me every time she posts. I hope we can help her through this.

UPDATE 7/2

Jennifer is having a really tough time but she is hanging in there. The doctors are helping her and trying to keep her comfortable. She was admitted into the hospital. Jennifer is finding it very difficult to talk. I will keep you posted if I hear any more but please pray for Jennifer and keep her in your thoughts.

JENNIFER UPDATE: This is Jenn's mom, The plan today is to slowly get her off the Heliox so she can go back to NJ. She is being heavily sedated, so she cannot communicate with anyone, today. She said to tell you all that she loves you so much and will get to everyone as soon as she can.

Keep your chin up Jenn. Watching puppies play has become a full time passtime to me on some of my bad days. Our son is home for the summer with his two great danes. Neely loves it. He gets mopey when they leave. Luckily I sit other doodles inbetween so I still get the joy of the play. You are lucky Jack looks at the screen. Neely watches TV with animals on it but can't seem to figure out the computer screen, he gets all excited about the voice and tries to find the person behind the computer then into a searching frenzy that won't find the "VOICE" It is so nice to have your mom love Jack like you do so that isn't on your mind. Going anywhere without our Neely isn't an option. We would miss him too much. I hope all your med appointments bring answers as the not knowing is the hardest to deal with. Thanks....I am keeping my mind busy ..of course my last appointment of the day is the surgeon have to wait till 4 30 !!!! Also the second surgeon on Tuesday is last appointment of the day....

Yay for nerves!... I face times Jack several times today and watched him have so much fun with my mom and Molly....he is doing great which makes me happy..I wonder if he is wondering where I am..I talk to him on face time....he looks at the screen and turns his head side to side...then goes back to playing...I could watch him all day.....
