Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Rest in Peace Dublin knowing that the human lives you touched are thinking about you! You have made a difference in so many lives in the short time we knew you!

Rest in Peace Dublin knowing that the human who took you from Marissa, Seamus and Mickey will be made to

pay for his crime!

Rest in Peace Dublin for all the other dogs that were taken too soon in the hands of humans!

Rest in Peace Dublin!

yes, Penny, he certainly did! I don't know if anyone was aware but Dublin had genetic cataracts that he had to have operated on and 2 vets had suggested that Dublin get tested for cancer. They thought he had cancer because of something they saw - I can't remember what is was - during their exams. He went through all the testing (at a tremendous cost to the DRC which was done without a second thought) and after he passed to the other side of the Bridge the results came in that he was cancer free!! Dublin would have lived a long, happy life with sight in both eyes and cancer free if that stupid human, Freddie Bainbridge, had been paying attention when he was driving on that fateful night!
Thank you all for caring about Dublin!

I am so glad that the police continued with this case and found the person responsible. What a horrible thing this man did. I hope he doesn't get off easily. He needs to pay for what he did and doing time would be the right justice!!! I can't believe that someone would knowingly hit someone and then drive away. And...he lived in the neighborhood!!!! Amazing. I'm glad justice will be done for Dublin!

Thanks for keeping us updated on this crime. What a terrible man this must be. He had to know who he hit if he had yelled at Marissa and Seamus before! How can he live with himself?
