The past couple of weeks have been slow.


Mom hasn't been able to take me to the Dog Park. And we've only been on one walk, which makes me sad. Lots of car rides, though. I think Mom tries to make up for the no Dogy Park and no walks.


Mom says sometimes moms get busy, but that it doesn't mean they don't love their doodles. She works a lot, with that little computer in her lap. When I come over to put my head in her lap, she rubs my head and apologizes. She says she has to work, but we'll play later.


I just wanted to update my blog.


Mom says I'm going to get a haircut soon. I keep telling her that my shaggy hair is the new style. All the cool dogs are doing it. But Mom doesn't want me to be cool, apparently. I think she's going to send me back to that place that sprays the smelly stuff on me and wraps the bandana around my neck.


I just hope I don't run into anyone I know.


Mom says I'm mouthy, but I'm only mouthy to Aunt Sarah, cause I know she's talking about me and I know it's not nice. I haven't quite learned what some of their words mean, but Aunt Sarah likes to make fun of me. She also likes to trick me, saying that I don't have my balls any more. Every time, I go and check. And my balls are still right there on top of my crate for when I get to play with them. Aunt Sarah is kind of mean like that.


On the other paw, Aunt Sarah does give me a big spoonful of yogurt in the morning when Mom can't. Mom only gives me a little spoonful, but I like it when Aunt Sarah gives it to me. It gets all over my fur though. Some even fell on my head, and then Mom had to give me a bath.


Mom's teaching me catch. She throws toy up in the air and I try and catch it. Sometimes, I can't see it, though. Probably because of my fur. Probably why Mom wants me to get it cut. I don't have to play catch if it means I can't be cool.


Mom says she has to work a little bit today, but she promises she doesn't have to go anywhere. So I'm thinking a walk. Maybe some fetch. Maybe some cat poop. Maybe another walk and some more fetch.


I have a lot planned for today.

Our mom is so busy getting ready for the grand baby that she never takes us on walks. We think it is supposed to rain because she keeps running here and there and cleaning and shopping for the shower. And she keeps the spare room door closed so we won't get into the gifts. We think it is going to rain on Sunday so maybe she will have more time to play after it quits raining. It is sooooo hot here (104 today and supposed to be 106 on Sunday) how could it rain? My mom's been busy, too, Gatsby, and things are pretty boring here at my house. It's been raining so much i haven't even hardly been able to play ball!
But today I got a new marrow bone to keep me busy! Maybe you'll get one, too!

Peri, I don't know why my aunt makes fun of my toys! It's a human thing, I think. Pumpkin? That sounds good. Aunt Sarah gave me peanut butter, and I liked licking it out of my Kong. It's really hard to get, though! But it tastes so yummy...I wonder if I can ask for peanut butter *and* yogurt!

Hudson, my Mom did the same thing with me. I guess it's a good idea to have all our needles done before we go for walks. Mom said I might get sick, so for a little while I couldn't even leave my yard! Now I get to go to the Dog Park (sometimes) and visit other dogs, and Mom's not worried about me getting sick. Unless I eat poop. Then she gets upset. To attract the ladies, this is what you do: you run up to them, and just tackle them! Chicks dig it, I swear. And if they run away, run after them. It's like chase, only you get the girl in the end. Or...at least that's what Aunt Sarah is telling me. OH! By the way, I like to steal my cousin's socks. I guess he's four, but I'm almost bigger than him. So, I can do that kind of thing. And he yells and gets mad, but I just laugh. Because they're socks. Who cares, right?

Shelby, I'll only post pictures if I look good. No sense in embarrassing myself, right? Mom says I'll be cooler with a new haircut, but I don't want to end up dorky either. She might mean I won't be as hot, though. But hey, it's the price I have to pay to be ballin'. Am I right? (Sorry about your hair cut! Mom says it'll grow back!)

Gatsby.... I hope you don't end up with a haircut like mine! I was super cool and shaggy until the other day and now, I am naked! Something about my coat change and matts! I think I looked great... but now I am naked. I don't really sleep on the tile now.... my bed is more comfortable....! Please post pictures of your new haircut!

Gatsby, you are one smart, CUTE little dood! I'm glad you might get that walk today... I am still waiting to finish my 'needles' to go for walks, Mom doesn't want me to get sick.
Totally jealous of your shaggy do, I was hoping to go for the Bieber look too, but Mom said a groomer is coming to our house Monday so I can see better. How am I spose to pick up ladies when I start going for walks? Hope I don't look too dorky.
You know, I have an Uncle who teases me about my balls too. So I show him my favorite ball, then he throws it. I don't know whats so funny? Relatives.. *sigh*
Anyways, I hope you enjoy your busy day. I'm probably just going to steal the babies socks.. right off of his feet! (Its my new specialty...)
