Koda's first time in the snow

Koda and I make yearly trips to Long Island but we always have done it in the summer time. This was the first time we made a winter trip (and being as cold as it is I remember why!). I was VERY excited for Koda to see snow for the first time. He LOVED it! He was doing snow zoomies like no one's business but my absolute favorite moment was when Koda discovered he could eat the falling snow! I managed to catch one of these moments on video (thankfully!) and thought I would share it (but I have to figure out how to post a video on here first). I do have some picture of Koda's snow escapades though. I am so happy Koda got to see snow and loved it so much. He was slightly scared at first - and really took some time to figure out how to use the doggie facilities in the snow but he has grown to absolutely love it. Too bad it will never snow in Florida for him!


Ah memories....

And yes that is a human jacket which is why it looks funny....I couldn't find one big enough for him so I resorted to a child's large....scares me though that I fit in the same jacket he does (yeah I felt the need to try it on for some reason) lol!

Oh yeah and we live in South Centrel Alberta so lots of snow.

The same with our dog Jasper! She is a snow fanatic. When we first got them and let them outside she ran out and stuck her head in the snow! She looked sooooo cute. Now she will spend hours jumping in snowbanks and trying to eat snow... very adorable.
