My DH went to our camp on Monday and is going to stay for the week or maybe a little longer. HE DIDN'T TAKE THE LITTLE GIRL WITH HIM !!!!!!!!!!! Lucy is with him 24/7 as he is retired and I still work. She is just moping around and when I ask her "where is Daddy?" she goes straight to the door and looks out where he always has his truck parked. I have been on 3 - 11 all week and have had to leave her alone. My grandaughter lives near and comes and lets her out, but I still feel guilty. I don't know what you all do when you have to leave your babies by themselves while you work, and we all have to work ERRRRRR! :<(

PET SITTERS...the greatest thing in the world, they love your dogs and take great care of them when you can't, they spend quality time with them and spoil them just as you would, most will give discounts and are really affordable, Vacation time if you can't take your pet with you, you don't have to subject your Doodle to kennel diseases, or other potential nasty dogs, leave them home with a pet sitter, you will glad you did.

And I forgot to add, if we didn't work they'd have to eat alpo brand dog food! Or worse, no kibble at all! Guess someone has to work for the good kibble. :-)

That is so funny, because I have turned on the TV for Lucy too. Aren't we a blast !!! When she was a little puppy, I always turned on the TV for her just to make her think someone was around. To To Funny :>)

I am in the lucky position that my boyfriend can work from home most of the days but sometimes it's unavoidable that he needs to work at the office as well. I leave the house at 8 and don't come back before 7. Either my boyfriend or I am going home then during lunch to walk Benny but for the rest he is alone. I always feel so guilty when I need to leave him then again and he is looking at me with this sad eyes.. I even did turn on the TV already for him (as if he were actually watching it lol). The cats sleep almost all day upstairs so noone for him to play with. I am happy that we are not often in this situation but I can completely understand how you guys feel. I even took some hours off already on some days to stay at least the afternoon then at home with him....

Awwww, I used to work steady 7P - 7A, as a nurse too. I feel your pain. I am now on the IV team and working 8 hr. shifts, much much better. Getting ready to retire. Hang in there. I guess when we get home we just have to give extra attention to our doodle babies. Lucy looks at me when I am leaving with a very very sad face. She knows !!! :<(

Trust me, I seriously get separation anxiety about leaving Lizzie! I work 7p to 7a (new nurse, doing my time) and she has no one here with her! She has a huge pen set up in the basement, but I feel so bad leaving her alone! Some days I can convince my dbf to come play with her, but he works the same shift and often the same days! It's a struggle, I know!!!
