Originally being from Germany love made me living abroad as an expat in the Netherlands. To be honest the best decision I have made so far in my life. I got a loving boyfriend, found an interesting job, got a house, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 2 doodles. What could I wish more?

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Benny is a black Labradoodle. We didn't get him from a breeder but found him on the internet. He was born on a farm and is from a litter of a cream Doodle (mom) and a chocolate Labrador (dad). Unfortunately he didn't get all the "good" doodle gens and he has a short hair coat and is shedding. But nevertheless we love him like crazy. We also have 2 housecats who were really suspicious when we brought Benny home but after a while accepted him as a new member of our family. They all play, fight and sleep together. 2 pet rabbits make our "little farm" complete.

Our newest family member is Tyler an Australian Labradoodle.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: As my boyfriend was allergic to dogs in his childhood we thought we will give it a try with Benny as his official breed name in his pet passport is Labradoodle although we were aware that he might shed. My boyfriend's allergy came back but we can live with that and have no serious issues. For no money in the world we would give Benny away again. Our second doodle needs to be allergy friendly otherwise the allergy would get to severe therefore we decided now to get one from a breeder.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: Yes!, Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Benny doesn't require a lot of grooming, with Tyler I will give it a try myself

Benny taking part in the Dog Whisperer European Live Tour

As some of you might have heard already Benny was chosen to take part in the Dog Whisperer European Live Tour.

The show took place in Amsterdam and my boyfriend taped our "performance" with the Iphone as cameras were not allowed.

Bad luck again - thanks to Benny

When Benny was loosing his milk teeth I tried really hard to get one of these teeth but he managed to swallow them all....

Now Tyler started to loose his milk teeth as well and it seems that he also swallowed them as well so far.

Then all of a sudden while Benny and Tyler were wrestling (inside and actually not allowed lol) I heard a soft click and saw a little white thing blinging on the wooden floor. A milk tooth - yeah!

Benny the walking desaster area

It was time again that Benny had a stupid accident. We don't know how it happened but in the first night of our trip to the sea I woke up because I heard Benny scratching all the time. When I checked on him I realized that his left eye was closed, tears were running out of it and he couldn't open it anymore. today was meant to be THE day. I had a vet appointment with Benny to remove the stitches on his paw. We both were looking forward already to remove the stupid shoe he was wearing all time over his bandage and this would have meant: no leash, finally running around and playing rough with other dogs again and most important SWIMMING.
