We picked Finn up on Saturday March 31st. He'll be 8wks old on Wednesday. He's a cream colored F1 GD. He is the cutest, sweetest, lil baby which is good because he appears to be a force to be reckoned with. :-)

He is CHEWY... he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. Dirt, leaves, grass, sticks, rocks, mulch, plants, furniture, the couch, the blanket, my arm, my shirt, my hand, my foot, my shoes, my pants, the leash, pretty much everything he comes in contact with. :-)

He HATES the crate. Our other dog Murphy has taken up howling upon hearing Finn cry when in the crate.

He does better in his night-time kennel which is in our bedroom... although my husband and I have been taking turns sleeping on the floor right next to it.

He's doing AWESOME going potty outside.

He's just a clumsy, funny, cute as a button, lil baby and we LOVE him dearly already.

Welcome home Finn!!!

I'm looking forward to reading and seeing lots of pictures of this little fellow...he sounds like a real character.  Congratulations on your  beautiful Doodle puppy, Finn.

If Finn is a chewer anything close to what Daisy was/is those bully sticks will be gone in no time. You might want to try elk antlers they last a long long long time. I have bought both types the whole one and the sliced ones. Daisy loves them and I do too since the bully sticks always gave Daisy diarrhea. Good luck and keep us posted!! :)

Finn looks FANTASTIC!! What a darling 'lil guy! Can't wait to see more and more pics as he grows. BTW, I just love the tube sock idea! Remember, the only good puppy is a TIRED puppy, so interact with him as much as possible. It helps so much with the bonding!

What a cutie pie - and I love his name.  The puppy stage goes so fast - pretty soon you'll be saying, "Where'd my little puppy go?"  Enjoy - even the nippy, mouthy part :)

Thanks everyone. Finn continues to be a fiery one. I'm trying to get him use to a collar and leash. He hates them both. When he has the collar on, he walks on 3 legs, he keeps the 4th leg elevated and moving in a scratching motion at all times.

I'm going out tonight in search of those "bully sticks" I keep reading about. I gave Finn a rawhide stick last night and he had it all slimed up in less than 10min. I didn't want him to eat it so had to take it away. :-( Poor Finn. I'll try that frozen tube sock someone mentioned as well. Anything to help the poor lil fella during these teething times.

He's still doing great with pottying outside. He pee's right away everytime we take him out. Yay Finn!!!!!!

I chose to sleep in my own bed last night (vs. on the floor in front of Finn's crate). He wasn't very happy with me but after 15min of sounds you'd never think a precious little puppy could make, he calmed down and went to sleep. My husband only had to get up once during the night to take him out. Tonights my turn for the middle of the night potty breaks. :-) :-)
