We picked Finn up on Saturday March 31st. He'll be 8wks old on Wednesday. He's a cream colored F1 GD. He is the cutest, sweetest, lil baby which is good because he appears to be a force to be reckoned with. :-)

He is CHEWY... he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. Dirt, leaves, grass, sticks, rocks, mulch, plants, furniture, the couch, the blanket, my arm, my shirt, my hand, my foot, my shoes, my pants, the leash, pretty much everything he comes in contact with. :-)

He HATES the crate. Our other dog Murphy has taken up howling upon hearing Finn cry when in the crate.

He does better in his night-time kennel which is in our bedroom... although my husband and I have been taking turns sleeping on the floor right next to it.

He's doing AWESOME going potty outside.

He's just a clumsy, funny, cute as a button, lil baby and we LOVE him dearly already.

Welcome home Finn!!!

Welcome Finn...you are one very cute Doodle baby.  You look pretty innocent to me....not sure I'm buying all that "naughty stuff".

Oh, Finn, you little rascal.  You are going to give your parents a puppy run for their money.

Awwww!  People are sick of hearing my mouthy puppy tip, but I would not have survived this stage without it!  Take a white cotton tube sock, dampen it and tie it in knots and put it in the freezer.  I stuck it in Gavin's mouth before doing anything with him - petting, grooming, whatever.

Finn is cute! Our doodles put everything in their mouths, too. Everything! I have found they really like to chew on hard things. We got them shin bones and nylabones for aggressive chewers. The more they have to chew on, the less they chew on our furniture and other things they aren't supposed to.

Be careful of things that are treated with fire retardant chemicals.

Welcome, Finn! It sounds like you and Ernie are two peas in a pod! Keep listening to Mom and Dad and you'll be great!

Welcome home, Finn! It sounds like you are off to a great start! You are just about as cute as they come! You will be sleeping better soon, and DM and DF will both get to go back to bed. Let your mom know that the chewing might take longer to get over than the yowling in the crate. Extra hugs to Murphy as you have upended his world, too.
