- My significant other, Katie, and I are expecting our first goldendoodle, a dark apricot F1 standard on 3/29/12! He will be named Ernie and comes to us from Zippity Doodles in Golden, CO. I have been working with Debbie at ZD for several months now and she has been wonderful to me. Ernie will be delightful. So anxious to get him home and to watch him grow!

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- Upon meeting my sister-in-law's goldendoodle, I fell in love with the silly personality characteristics and intelligence found in the breed and immediately knew that would be my next family member. Katie feels exactly the same way!
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Play, run, and have normal, everyday conversations with them! I think they really do understand the things we say!

Yesterday, I received an e-mail from Ernie's breeder, Debbie, written in Ernie's mom's voice. Her name is Dazzle, or Dazz for short. Because it was soo stinking cute, I'm going to copy and paste the original e-mail from Ernie's mom here, as well as my reply, in Ernie's voice!

I promised I'd be back and here I am to fill you in the on the recent developments! To my surprise, my post last week created quite a stir.
