Murphy is the first one in!!!

We started filling the pool this morning and altho it's going to be another 12 hours or more, I just couldn't wait any longer to let Murphy jump in. It's about 2-3 feet deep and he just jumped off the step like he's been doing it his whole life.

Bella on the other hand has not quite figured out what all this is just yet. She followed Murphy in without thinking and when she realized she was in water and it was up to her neck, she jumped back out like it was on fire. Then just decided to bark at Murphy to warn him of the scary wet stuff that's now in thier yard.

This is going to be so fun!

 

I hope to get a video soon as Murphy is just such a ham in the water. And SO fun to play with. I bought him his own raft today. Yes he floats too. Such a hoot.

oooh, that looks like fun! I so wish I had a pool. I almost jumped in the river on our walk today while still in my work clothes.

I will get a video up soon. I took Bella in earlier this evening and she did okay for a few minutes then started clawing at the wall to get out. I will work with her slowly. Murphy is part fish, so maybe she will learn from watching him. I'm really fine with her not going in as 1. I love having fun with Murphy alone in the pool and 2. Bella's coat is so thick it takes forever to dry. So either way, it's okay with me. Remember I did build the pool for my Grandchildren after all. (wink wink) BTW, I just found out Tues that my DD is having a DD.!!!! Just what I have always dreamt for her.
