Hi all...Murphy here

What a holiday, doods. I am so glad to be home. Very tired. We went to visit my human brother in Austin, a really cool place. He got a new puppy the day before we arrived (what was he thinking??!!) A Weimaramer. What a pain she is.

My brother is an engineer so he had a schedule all made out for her...on a spread sheet. She didn't follow it though... 

Mom says they will both figure it out. I'm not sure.  

 

We met fellow Doodlekisses members Devin and Indy. She is really cute. :-) We met another doodle there. He was nearly as big as I am...but his mom kept saying he was just 65lbs. WTD?? My brother says it was because the weight limit for apartments is 70 lbs.  Ahhh. So I weighed 65 lbs in Texas!  Cool huh?

Murphy, your brother can't be all bad.  If I'm thinking correctly it was your brother who told your mom she needed a dog after all she had been through a few years back.  He is the reason YOU are here today!!  :)

Murphy - we are so happy that you are back and that you had a great time.  I'm laughing about the "65 lb" doodle - I've been know to fudge on a few pounds myself - I thought it was a girl thing - now its a doodle thing too!

Love the spread sheet - my husband (a QA person and my own "spread sheet king") SO wants Sedona to be predictable, but she's not.  It frustrates the heck out of him that Sedona's a "free thinker"!  :-)

Glad you are home safe and sound Murphy.  My human sister and her husband came down from San Jose for Christmas and brought my niece Luna the Rhodesian Ridgeback.  I guess I would be her Aunt????  I am 3 1/2 and Luna is 1 1/2 but we have gone back and forth to each others houses for visits a few time.  I met her when she was 4 months old so we are buddies.  Total opposites though.  I am floppy, like water, hate to be hot and gentle.  She is stiff, hates water and loves heat and sun and plays rough.  We love each other a lot though.  That is the way you and the Weimaramer will be.  They look a lot like Ridgebacks!  I guess if I were in Texas I would be 65 lbs as well!!!  But I know what you mean about being very tired.  These young pups really wear us out!!!  Happy New Year Murph!  Love Gracie Doodle

Yeah, I'm thinking that the little Weimaramer doesn't know how to read a spread sheet yet, but she'll figure it out eventually I'm sure.  Glad you're home too Murphy. Enjoy your New Year's Eve!!
