My Doodles and the Grammys!

[Laurie, Fudge, and Vern]

Vern is watching the Grammys with me, while Fudge snoozes beside us. Fudge goes to bed early, so she misses a lot of shows at night. So far, Vern does not like Mick Jagger. He started panting...I think he thought Mick's pants were too tight or maybe Vern was just hot. He seemed to really enjoy Miranda Lambert, but he loves my daughter and she is blond, so maybe it had nothing to do with the music. He wasn't sure about Emimen, but he has heard loud voices and cuss words (especially when I am driving) before so he didn't get scared. He didn't know what to make of Lady Gaga and her egg. Mick Jagger got Vern so worked up he had to take a potty break and he woke Fudge up too. Both dogs came back in when Barbra Streisand was singing Evergreen, and I explained to them that that song was the first song my DH and I danced to at our wedding and they just laid down on their beds and went to sleep. I could tell my DH was equally touched, because when she finished singing, I said, "Do you remember when we danced to this song?" and he said, "Yes, I remember all the good memories...all one of them" and then he started laughing.

Vern knows tight pants when he sees them :) Mick Jagger looked like he weighed about 80 pounds dripping weight. I don't get his appeal, but I guess he is the cat's meow for some people.

Oh Laurie....love this.  "Evergreen" was our wedding song too!  I'm not sure I even like it anymore, but I did at the time.  I taped the Grammys (cause I hate the commercials), so the Doods and I will watch tonight.  I'll let you know if the boys have the same reactions as Fudge and Vern.  Oh, and one more question....Are you and DH "making each night a first"?  WTD?  LOL
