My house guest...kind of.

A friend of mine from college is visiting for the week and Bernie immediately assumed she's here for his entertainment! He loves people, which we appreciate, but he won't leave her alone!

He brings all his toys to her, he wants to sit on her on the couch, he chews his bone while draped over her legs. He even sat outside our guestroom door until she got up this morning!

Do any of you experience this with your Doodles? I'm genuinely convinced he thinks she's his.

Gracie Doodle just assumes when the door bell rings that who ever is there has come to play with her. If UPS comes she goes back down the steps and up into his truck! I had a series of repair men coming this summer and one had to come back 5 times. Gracie by this point had claimed him as hers...she would drop her tennis ball at his feet and he would actually pick it up and throw it for her.

It is quite cute, but in case anyone didn't notice, he has his bone on her! He eats on her even! Haha. I know it's not up to my guests to help 'train' my dog but I want him to know he needs to listen when other people tell him what to do...needless to say most of my friends find him too adorable to scold...and the cycle continues!

Ha...this is so funny. Peri does this with most house guests. She likes to "show off" her toys, treats, etc...she's just a "lover" as we call her. Bernie is such a cute doodle :)

What an adorable picture!!! Tara was this way when 2 of DH's brothers came for a weekend visit. She was ALL OVER them-completely smitten!! I don't know if it is because they are like new living TOYS or what it is!!
