My Mom Humiliated Me

My Mom decided to buy me a Halloween Costume last year (she said she got a REALLY good deal on it when my Dad asked) after Halloween. She brought it out from the closet the other day and put it on me. I didn't move a muscle. I wouldn't even look at her, I was so mad at that lady. She even brought out a piece of my very favorite thing in the whole world (a piece of Chicken from the refrigerator!!!) and I didn't even move. Nothing was going to make me move in that hideous looking thing. I think I hurt her feelings because she wanted me to be happy - but I just couldn't. She was sad because my tail wasn't happy like it always is. I put that thing right between my legs, I'm telling you I wasn't happy at all. She wanted me to go to some Howl o Ween parade, but I think she realizes now that I will NOT be doing that this year.

I knew you Doodles would be on my side! I don't know what my Mom was thinking when she put that Costume on me. It's so nice to have you guys with me on this! If anyone knows of a Doodle looking for a costume - I've got one for ya!!! BOL!

OMG I am laughing out loud at her photo!! Allie, I am so sorry sweetie really I am laughing at your mom for thinking you would like such thing. My mom bought me a costume too, its a lion - really? They are crazy I tell you!

Allie, I'm so sorry your mom humiliated you like this. I know all kinds of things you can do to get even with her. Send me a message when your mom isn't using the computer and I will give you some ideas. Best thing is to watch where she puts the costume and hide it or tear it up.

Your mama is being insensitive. Some of us are just not costume kind of doods. Some of us are. Your mom needs to get more in tune with you.... now maybe if she had gotten you a plush toy to de-squeak she would have seen your happy tail!

He little Allie, Gracie Doodle here. That is the exact same costume I wore last Halloween. I was not the least bit embarrassed in it. Just hot!! My mother had such a big smile on her face when I wore it and she took me everywhere in it for a couple of days. I think you look adorable in your costume. It really is very comfortable and as long as you are outside and there isn't a heat wave going on, you should be OK. Go check out my page and look in the albums.
