Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hi All!!!
I figured that since MOST of you reading this are people I would put my age in terms you can understand-people years!! Hee hee! Hope I didn't shock you too much!!! If there are any doodles (Banjo or JD) reading this I am 4 years old!
I've been around a long time now and I've really changed a lot over my 29 years. Here I am with one of my sibs shortly after I was born. I'm on the left, the one with the gigantic head that is too big for my body. Mom says it's because I have so many doodle brains in there. You can see I could hardly stand up it was so heavy! Thank goodness my body caught up and I don't have to carry that huge head around any more!
I don't remember my Bio Parents but people tell me I look more like my dad:
Bio Mom
Back then I did a lot of random pooping, peeing, screaming and falling down. TG those days are behind me...well, most of the time! Most of the time now I just use my giant doodle brain to learn new tricks and outsmart my mom and dad- which is really easy. :)
I'm celebrating my 29th Birthday with my real mom and dad today. Here I am with my treats they bought me from Nina's Doggie B Goode Bakery:
WAIT A MINUTE!!! What the doodle is going on here??? That's not me and it's not the Kitty B Goode Bakery! Looks like my sissy cat Amber has been messin' with my presents!! Grrrrrrr!!!
Okay, that's better! This is the REAL me with my Birthday goodies from Nina!!!
After my morning walk and a little ball retrieving I will be spending the rest of my Birthday relaxing, getting belly rubs, sipping filtered water and munching on Kelly's Turkey All American Yum Balls(on the right in the pic) which are the Doodle equivalent of Bon Bon's. Life is good...

You know the old adage: A shot of ACV a day keeps the doctor away!! Oops! Nothing personal of course! ;)
Oh right I remember now, ACV : )
Of course and everything I see on TV too!
Do you believe everything you read?
Thank you Jane and Deanna!
Daisy give your 29 year old mom a big kiss from me!! XO TaraBear!!
Okay, I've been waiting for you jeniuses to question the 29 years and you didn't disappoint me! LOL!
Tara and I spend minutes HOURS researching age conversions between humans and dog. The first site was a chart that stated Tara's age to be 32 in human years. Well, she was devastated at the thought of being over 30 so we moved on. First chart:

Next we came upon a conversion calculator where not only can you calculated dog to human years but also human to dog years if you would like to know your age in canine terms. The calculator came up with 29 for Tara so we decided to quit while we were ahead it was the most accurate.

So now you know the jenius and well researched answer to your question of 28 vs 29 years. Although I'm sure she would be very happy to be 28 instead of 29 I couldn't find 28 as her human age in spite of the extensive amount of research that I did. Apparently the old formula of 7 human years for every dog year is no longer valid.
Never let a jenius intimidate you, I say.
Oh no....I am starting to think like F. I wondered the same thing about 28 or 29, but figured since you are a jenius, you knew something we didn't. I never question a jenius, but I guess F does!
OK, this title has been confusing me. How come your not 28?
