My new "tool bag"
I ordered this tool bag from Home Depot. It is the perfect size for my growing arsenal of grooming tools and products.

Dori, my latest addition is a Chris Christensen buttercomb. I got half fine/half coarse. I just love it, it really glides through her hair and is great at working out tangles. She is soft and fleecy but I think it would work well with any coat. I highly reccommend it! Their pin brushes are great too. A thing I learned from the grooming group is that you should brush and then comb them.

How did you know what type of brushes and combs to get for Stella? I bought an inexpensive brush for her before I brought her home. I don't have a comb, though. At this time, she isn't matting. Her adult coat is coming in but I really don't know what type of coat she has or will have to know the right brushes/combs to get for her. Wool or fleece...soft or coarse. My guess is fleece and soft. So, at this point, our little $6.99 brush is working just fine.

Hooray The Home Depot is usually our Friday night date and now I have something to shop for. It looks exactly right to declutter my dog grooming cupboard. I also have an overflow dog cupbboard, a garage dog box, a garage shelf for large dog items,etc. This does not count the dog toy basket, dog beds - although why they have any is a mystery since mostly they sleep with us- and the dog supplies in the earthquake trash can. I can't wait for next Friday.

What a great idea. I bought a small snap close tool box for my stuff but alas, not everything fits. I am going to "the big orange" and pick up one like yours today.
