My Summer in Pictures by Quincy

Our's was not a great summer, but Mom and Dad tried to make the best of it and took me on as many outings as possible. Of course Mom always had her camera with her and took pictures of everything. Dad was not always the most patient with Mom's picture taking but she did it anyway. I thought I would share with you a little bit of my summer in pictures.

We went to visit a local fisherman and Mom brought home fresh crab for dinner. We aso went to visit my grandparents, it was a very long drive. While we were there ,Mom and Dad went fishing for cod and Mom let me sniff them.  Cod is delicious, I had some for my dinner.

 We spent lots of time watching the whales! Well, Mom watched the whales, I watched Mom and got lots of pets from the tourists. Some even told me I was nicer than the whales, I think they liked me.

 Mom kept trying to get some pictures for this thing called a calendar. I don't think these made the short list.I met some new creatures that I had not seen before. Mom says they are called a horse and a seal and a whale. The horse was my favorite, I wanted to play with him but Mom wouldn't let me. She said he might kick me, I don't think he would, he looked like a nice horse.

My favorite snacks, blueberries and ice cream cones. Dad did share a little with me. He thought it was really funny to see the look on peoples faces as they passed by and thought we were licking the cone together.We went for lots of walks and hikes! I got to run off my leash a bunch of times.

There were some sunny days and lots of rainy ones.

 I really learned to swim this summer and eventually the water got warm enough that Mom even went swimming with me. I think Mom should learn how to swim better so she doesn't need that giant noodle thingy.

 There are lots of pictures of Dad and me but only a couple with Mom.

 Finally, Mom says she found my new do for the next time she grooms me! I don't think that's funny. This guy looked like he wanted to spit at me, I think he was just jealous because I had nicer hair.

Even though it wasn't the greatest weather this summer, I had lots of fun!!!!! Thank you for looking at my pictures.

Wow, great blog, Quincy. I saw a horse a few months back but Mom wouldn't let me get close either.
